John Denver is a popular singer and songwriter who has been able to touch many with his songs. Many of these are based on Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born Henry John Germandorf at Roswell in New Mexico fell in love with Colorado. He moved to Aspen. Many people traveled to Colorado following the Denver's cult tunes for the state he was raised in. G. The song was recorded a couple of days after having performed in Washington D.C. before an large crowd who were very appreciative.
