Michael Keaton, an American actor and producer, is best known for his role in Birdman. The versatile actor is equally adept at both comedy and dramatic. Alongside characters with romantic appeal, he played in action films as well as thrillers. He developed an interest in performing and acting when at the age of teen and tried his hand at stand-up comedy while young men. It was not a successful stand-up career, however it did pave the way for an acting career. Since he wasn't able to succeed as the actor of his dreams, he decided to work as a TV cameraman. This job is where he realized it was his dream to be on camera. He was offered a TV show and he appeared on several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. There was no doubt that he quickly became a popular television actor. His comedic performances made him famous and he embarked upon a career as a filmmaker with big dreams. His fame grew by playing the titular superhero from Tim Burton's Batman. As a mature actor, He also started to move into producing and directing. His performance in 2014 as Birdman garnered him many accolades and nods.
